Those Who Fight Further

This fanlisting was adopted from Laura at the end of December 2006, and is now part of my collective dragoon.nu. Being a fanlisting, you will be unsurprised to hear that it is listed at the Fanlistings.org. I applied to adopt this fanlisting because I do love these games (yes, I do, even while I make fun of Squall, complain about Tidus, and scoff at silver haired bad guys) most of my gaming time is usually spent on one of these games.

When I adopted this fanlisting, it was named Pray, and I kept that name until August 2007. I still like the name Pray, but I wanted a change. I was having no joy coming up with something myself, so I turned to my Livejournal friendlist and asked for their help. Lots of very, very awesome people gave great suggestions, and were just generally really helpful. I love you guys. ♥ In the end I went with Those Who Fight Further, which was suggested by Neu and seconded by Stacey Anne, and thirded by myself. Thus, the motion was passed. Those Who Fight Further is a name appropriate for each and every Final Fantasy game - which was exactly the kind of name I wanted. It's also the name of the boss music from FFVII (one of my favourites), and has also been covered in an amazing version by the Black Mages. Another very gorgeous suggestion came from Sarah - Nonpareil, meaning: eminent beyond or above comparison; "matchless beauty"; model of excellence or perfection of a kind; one having no equal. I decided not to use it in the end, as Those Who Fight Further seemed more appropriate to me, but I still think it's a wonderful name. Many thanks again to you all for your help! :)

This fanlisting is skinned, meaning that you have a number of different layouts to choose from. You can view them all here.

Character Shrines
Alex and I already maintain a pretty extensive list of RPG character shrines links over at In The Fade. Needless to say, a large number of those sites are Final Fantasy related, so I'm going to be shameless and send you over there, instead of listing all the sites here again.
